Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Contractor Conveyance in support of the Orthopaedics separation activities from Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).  This role will be based in New Jersey or Tampa, FL. This is a duration-based role that is intended to last at least 18-24 months.

Role description  

The Senior Manager, Contractor Conveyance for Project Osprey owns end-to-end assessment and conveyance execution for contractors. This senior procurement leader will design and execute strategy that secures uninterrupted supply, disentangles legacy/entangled contractors and enables a smooth systems migration. The role partners closely with legal, suppliers, cross-functional business stakeholders, and the Osprey Procurement PMO to deliver cost, quality, and service targets while protecting business continuity. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  •  Creating and executing a contractor conveyance strategy that ensures uninterrupted supply while separating the entangled contracts to minimize dyssynergy and contractor driven one-time-cost. 

  • Assessing the supplier base, lead contract discussions with suppliers and legal, and negotiate terms to secure cost, quality, and service levels. 

  • Establish procurement policies, processes, and KPIs as required 

  • Support systems migration or implementation 

  • Coordinate closely with business partners to support the program requirements and manage stakeholder expectations across the business 

  • Provide progress report to Osprey Procurement PMO and relevant procurement leadership  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field); MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred. 

  • Minimum of seven years’ procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with global MRO/category management exposure preferred. 

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams (direct or matrixed) across multiple regions and countries. 

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. 

  • Excellent project management, analytical, and stakeholder engagement abilities. 

  • Proven record of driving cost and value improvements and supplier innovation. 

  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, and culturally diverse environment. 

  • Knowledge of sustainability/ESG and compliance practices in procurement is a plus. 

  • Fluency in English required; additional language(s) considered an asset. 

  • Willingness to travel globally as required (approximately 20%).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
