What you will do:

• Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes

• Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.

• Review, control and approve Account Reconciliations of Intercompany accounts.

• Supervise month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to the Leadership Team.

• Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement

• Take leadership role for accounting related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP and local GAAP

• Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.

• Supervise and support clerks by fostering a team environment, providing guidance, and conducting regular meetings to gather feedback, offer support, and enhance team culture.

• Handles special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.

 

What you need:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a Intercompany function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems

• Proficiency in the English language (B2+)

• Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel

• ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD

Preferred

• Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage

Travel Percentage: 10%
