The Event Assistant will support the Event Management team in ensuring the smooth execution of events by coordinating with building staff, assisting with on-site operations, and addressing client needs. This role involves hands-on coordination, providing direct assistance to the Event Manager, and ensuring all event-related services meet client expectations. The Event Assistant schedule is event based and therefore highly variable from week to week. This will include nights and weekends, depending on event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordination & Communication: Assist the Event Management team in coordinating client needs with building staff, ensuring proper set-up, and addressing any operational requirements for a seamless event experience.

Client Support: Act as a liaison on the event floor to ensure all client needs are met, delivering top-tier service, and ensuring the event runs according to plan.

Team Assistance: Provide administrative and logistical support to the Event Manager as required, handling any additional tasks or challenges that arise during event planning and execution.

On-Site Operations: Offer on-floor support during events, troubleshooting any issues, managing last-minute adjustments, and maintaining communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.

Additional Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the event and the team's performance.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in event planning or customer service (preferred).
  • Flexibility with work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
