As a Housekeeping Coordinator, a typical day will include:
Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
Records, monitors, and updates the list of ‘Do Not Disturb' rooms.
Communicates with Housekeepers throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
Guest Experience and Company Standards
Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
To Become a Housekeeping Coordinator at AAH:
Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
