JOB SUMMARY
This position serves as a single point of accountability and is responsible for delivering quality, safe, compliant and productive facility installations and services with a high touch customer service orientation. Responsible for delivering facilities and utilities maintenance and operation, infrastructure management, energy management and cost improvement initiatives, soft services external facilities service contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure efficient delivery of site services, maintenance and utilities operations, compliance of classified production systems, security, project delivery, move services and all facilities operations.
• Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects.
• Interface with business units and contractors during planning and construction.
• Keeps standard operational procedures updated and assures strict compliance to them.
• Acts as Facilities subject matter expert for: area improvements, deviations evaluations, regulatory audits, and capital justification.
• Serve as primary site liaison for Facilities Quality and EHS compliance.
• Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, Environmental Health and Safety and other regulations. Represent Facilities in related audits.
• Fire risk management and prevention
• Support Energy/Sustainability initiatives and infrastructure management programs
• Assess contractor’s works risks and establish permit to work.
• Support implementation MD Global Facilities strategies and initiatives at the site. Establish a high performance and continuous improvement culture driven by key performance metrics, benchmarking and sharing of best practices.
• Responsible for the local Pest Control Program on site (when assigned by local Management).
EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• High school education, with several years of experience and additional training courses.
• Electrician certificate preferred
• Experience in project management and coordination preferred
• Experience in EHS&S and quality assurance preferred
• Organizational skills

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
• English: Business fluent
• Spanish: Business fluent for Spanish speaking sites preferred
