Company Description
TrueTandem's mission is to be a trusted information technology solutions provider, committed to the success of our customers, communities and employees. To enable this mission, we listen to our customers’ needs, empower our dedicated and talented employees, envision success together, and deliver innovative cost-effective solutions. For our customers, we aim to deliver more power to meet their business outcomes through technology implementation, integration, optimization and customization. We enable some of the most well-known companies, nonprofits and federal agencies in the United States to intelligently plan and develop their applications, modernize their infrastructure and manage their data.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the modernization of enterprise business applications. This role is responsible for eliciting requirements, business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and solution definition in support of Microsoft Power Platform applications.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, self-driven professional who excels at gathering information from stakeholders, synthesizing complex business needs, and translating them into clear business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation. This individual should be able to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and produce high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI) is highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.

  • Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and operational requirements.

  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and other project documentation.

  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and other visual artifacts to communicate business processes.

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, architects, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Support solution validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Develop and maintain professional documentation, including requirements documents, user guides, standard operating procedures, and governance artifacts.

  • Support IT governance initiatives by developing and maintaining standards, procedures, templates, and documentation that promote consistency and quality across projects.

  • Ensure deliverables align with organizational governance standards, software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, and established best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience as an Information Technology Business Analyst.

  • Demonstrated experience leading requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops.

  • Strong technical and business writing skills.

  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven experience writing user stories, business requirements, and functional requirements.

  • Experience creating business process diagrams, workflow diagrams, or process maps.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong understanding of IT governance, SDLC, standards, policies, procedures, and documentation best practices.

  •  Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).

  • Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience developing high quality governance documentation, standards, templates, and process documentation.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate is someone who:

  • Thinks critically and analytically - not just documents meetings.

  • Can synthesize complex information into actionable requirements.

  • Produces polished documentation with minimal revision.

  • Is proactive, self-motivated, and takes ownership of assigned work.

  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Has exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
