ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. The Division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions including DIN rail products, enclosures and emergency lighting through to industrial plugs and sockets and conventional wiring accessories, accommodating for single family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications. The Division’s highly innovative technologies and digital solutions serve rising global demand among real estate developers, owners, and investors for smart building technologies that optimize energy distribution and building automation. The scalable solutions aim to deliver significant sustainable and financial benefits, meeting social and environmental demands, while being able to address even the most complex of customers’ carbon reduction strategies.

The SAP TM RISE Solution Functional Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing SAP Transportation Management solutions within the RISE framework. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, streamline transportation processes, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role is open globally, but location is set in Europe. The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand transportation management needs.
• Analyze existing transportation processes and identify areas for improvement using SAP TM functionalities.
• Design and configure SAP TM solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and best practices.
• Work Closely with System integrators on their design and development of business requirements in SAP TM and ensure best practices and ABB needs are met.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and functionality of SAP TM solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing SAP TM tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SAP TM applications.
• Stay updated with SAP TM enhancements and RISE solutions, recommending upgrades and new functionalities as necessary.
• Prepare documentation for system configurations, processes, and user manuals.
• Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of SAP TM initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SAP TM functionalities and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, MM, eWM, BN4L). Proficient in SAP RISE framework and its application in transportation management. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred. SAP TM certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SAP TM Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting user training and support. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus
