We are looking for a passionate, empathetic Support Worker with a can-do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Lifestyles, on a Casual basis.

Your role centres on supporting people with disability to live meaningful lives, and actively drive their own decisions and goals.

Expressing themselves through creative mediums e.g. art, cooking, gardening
Selling or exhibiting things they’ve created to the community
Maintaining their health and wellbeing e.g. yoga, gym

Your Responsibilities Include:
Supporting clients to build new skills through the delivery of person-centred, innovative programs such as arts & craft, music, health & fitness
Assisting clients with mealtimes, personal care and medication
Accompanying clients on community access, such as social events, recreation or sporting activities
Supporting clients with transport e.g. using CPA minivan
Requirements
Available for a minimum of 3 days per week, 3 to 6 hours a day
Available to work minimum 2 days a week during school holidays and 1 x Saturday every few weeks
Flexibility to work across different locations - Umina, Wyong and Long Jetty
Valid driver’s license (to drive across locations)
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities to reach their goal
