The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Program Manager who is responsible for programmatic oversight of ongoing implementation projects. They will work closely with our clients to install and support our suite of products. This position is a hybrid project management and technical implementation role that involves overseeing complex, enterprise-level client engagements. The Program Manager works with clients through the implementation of the products and serves as the primary contact with the client during the project.

A Typical Day: 
  • Proactively lead clients through the project lifecycle and effectively articulate implementation objectives. 

  • Serve as a central point of contact for external clients to plan and manage project tasks. 

  • Partner with clients to understand business requirements and expectations 

  • Create and maintain a documented project schedule; keep complete records of every project, including deliverables, change control, action items, issues, and risk monitoring 

  • Following established workflows and processes, utilize project management tools to manage both internal and external resources to facilitate project deliverables 

  • Obtain necessary information for project deliverables and approvals 

  • Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner. 

  • Work closely with the client and team to problem solve issues that arise. 

  • Communicates verbal and written project status to both customers and internal teams. 

  • Raise project issues and risks and drive execution of mitigation plans. 

  • Attend project and client meetings, taking detailed notes and coordinating next steps. 

  • Coordination, planning, and supporting resources with onsite/milestone activities. 

  • Deliver solutions within defined timelines while following Q2 project standards. 

  • Oversees successful transition of clients from implementation to go-live. 

  • Accountable for closing out projects and transitioning clients to Support. 

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum 5+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
  • Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
  • Experience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience managing client expectations with a Client first attitude and commitment to satisfaction
  • Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments
  • Capable of assessing project risks and mitigations
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to business oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources 
  • Possess project leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel 15% to client sites
  • Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
