Leidos is seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager in the Procurement and Strategic Alliances team. In this role, you will join a dynamic team that builds partnerships with key suppliers to drive the overall business strategies. Our goal is to deliver exceptional service and value to Leidos with our high-performing, innovative supplier base.

Primary Responsibilities

Successful candidate will have strong knowledge of general Information Technology (IT) or manufacturing space to become the subject matter expert for their assigned suppliers. You should have a keen interest in major / emerging technologies and have a general knowledge to distinguish hype from what is commercially viable and best in class Supply Chain solutions. You will apply your expertise to identify ways to drive differentiation via partnerships to support growth opportunities and to meet customer requirements. Your teammates will look to you for new and creative ideas, and you must be unafraid to share your opinions regardless of how unorthodox they may be. Leidos executives, including the CEO, will look to you as their primary point of contact for all matters related to your assigned suppliers.

This is position is based out of Leidos headquarters in Reston, VA.

Basic Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited college, and 12 or more years of experience in areas of procurement, category management, supplier management, supply chain, or other relevant areas
  • Demonstrated history of developing solutions to meet program requirements
  • Strong understanding of IT or manufacturing space
  • Experience collaborating with multiple organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Experience creating succinct presentations and briefing materials for different types of audience
  • Sharp negotiation skills with both external suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Organization skills with strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop professional executive level briefings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert Subject matter expertise in one or more areas within the IT or manufacturing space
  • Familiarity with government contracting or experience with federal systems integrators
  • Demonstrated history of providing measurable input to new solutions, processes or standards in order to achieve functional/project objectives.
  • Extensive experience working with executives – both internal and external personnel
  • Experience in drafting proposal volumes, press releases, newsletters, general articles, podcasts, videos, and others to engage with customers
  • Experience in creating or reviewing corporate policies, program manuals, or general guidelines
  • Understanding of general use cases for hot technologies such as edge to cloud, hyperscalers, large language models (like ChatGPT), quantum computing, zero trust, etc.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
