Job Description

For Central supply associates:

Perform daily scanning and picking/replenishment activities for assigned par locations. General maintenance of assigned par locations including bin organization, stockout management and substitute item tagging is expected. Perform assigned cycle counts and inventory adjustments within central supply in order to maintain accurate inventory levels. Associates will prep and participate in annual physical inventory exercises as-needed. Putaway inventory to central supply and ensure substitute items are logged appropriately.

For receiving Associates:

Utilize ERP to receive all packages and deliveries that arrive on the receiving dock. Research and resolve deliveries that arrive without purchase orders or complete information. Tag and sort all deliveries based on deliver-to location. Deliver packages to clinical and non-clinical departments as assigned by the manager and log all deliveries and signatures in BearTracks (chain of custody software). Communicate with couriers regarding off-site deliveries and investigations of missing packages.

For all associates:

Support urgent deliveries and other ad-hoc requests as assigned by supervisor or manager. Responds to customer service requests in a timely fashion and escalate more severe issues to supervisor or manager for resolution. Fills in for other duties across the supply chain operations team as needed. Maintains order and cleanliness in the areas worked and the areas serviced by ensuring proper allocation of space, arrangement of items, and timely removal of unnecessary items. Observes and enforces departmental and general hospital policies and procedures, particularly relating to the practice of safety and security measures. Conducts and/or attends in-service training programs as directed by supervisor or manager. Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safe use of materials handling equipment, both manual and powered is required. Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others. Other job functions as assigned.
