Job Description Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer specializing in CMDB on the ServiceNow platform to join our IT - SGA TECHNOLOGY ENABLEMENT department at S&P Global. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for CMDB enhancements and integrations.

- Develop, test, and deploy CMDB configurations, workflows, and scripts to support business processes and automation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB data integrity, performance, and functionality. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on CMDB on the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, including configuration, customization, and integration.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

- Excellent Trouble shooting skills, quick & accurate resolution, documenting the same is a must have.

- Experience with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks

- Experience in CSDM Framework

- Experience in IRE Engine & how it works, CMDB Remediation, De-Duplication

- Experience in Data Certification, Compliance/Audit Module

- Expertise in Database Views, Query Builder, Archive Jobs, Table Cleanups, Data Manager

- Experience in any of the Integrations with Service Graph Connector, Cloud Discovery with AWS/Azure/Google/VMWare, Manage Cloud Tag/Tag Governance.

- Responsible for Code deployment & working in Agile environment, working with Change management team for production releases.

- Proficiency in REST Integrations, Import Sets & Transforms, Inbound Actions

- Experience in Business Rules, Script Includes, Events, Client Scripts, Macros, UI Actions, UI Policies, Scheduled Jobs, Fix Scripts, Catalog item development, Workflows, ACLs, Managing Groups

- Experience in troubleshooting Discovery logs/extending patterns/any of the ACC related troubleshooting is an added advantage

- Experience in Normalization activities/ SAM / HAM is an added advantage.
