To complement our rapid growth, Five9 is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A, budgeting and Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts of expenses. Monitor key trends, assumptions on headcount, capital expenditures and operating expenses
- Prepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Work closely with Accounting team in monthly close process to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries
- Leverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports
- Participate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- 2+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience (SaaS experience a plus)
- High analytical acumen and financial modeling skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights / Host Analytics / Oracle
- Advanced Excel skills required
- BA or BS in Finance or Accounting required
- Detail oriented and systematic with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
