Discover Impactful Work:
An Operations Finance Analyst I, Contributes to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting. Works cross-functionally with operations, commercial finance, and finance to resolve issues related to any of the following: revenue, costs, contract values, billing, balance sheet management, financial reporting, financial tools and processes.
A day in the Life:
- Reviews all project budgets (proposals and contract modifications) to ensure that the budget includes all items incurred to date, pricing is correct, and there are no billing errors
- Ensures adequate communication and escalation of billing or pricing issues discovered during the review of contract modifications
- Reconciles actual items billed to budgeted line items to aid in the creation of reconciliation contract modifications
- Performs project close out reconciliations, which includes the verification of invoicing vs revenue amounts in Mosaic, notifying Collections of any overdue A/R, verification of Third-Party Labs invoicing, and ensuring that manually billed items have been invoiced to the Sponsor
- Maintenance of internal systems for all sent and signed contracts
- Ensure that monthly accruals are provided to Sponsors in the appropriate time and format
- Future responsibilities to include but not limited to support for preparation of monthly volume rebate reports, preparation of periodic governance/portfolio financial reporting, project and portfolio level forecasting, etc…

Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and project administration skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data, for roles with more technical focus previous experience with SharePoint / VBA / SQL / Power BI / RPA (comparable to 1+ years) will be an advantage.
Solid understanding of accounting/financial principles and regulations/legal requirements, for roles with more accounting focus a professional accounting qualification – ACCA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent will be an advantage.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
