Join us as a Platform Lead, Online Investing

• You'll work from home some of the time, and you'll also spend twice a week in our London office

What you'll do

As a Platform Lead, you’ll own the creation and design of a new platform to help our customers access and manage their investments. You’ll build the platform roadmap, working with the centres of excellence to make sure you have the right resources.

You’ll also be:

• Taking ownership of the financial, commercial and flow performance of the platform
• Managing the platform risk culture, making sure that teams effectively collaborate to mitigate risk
• Delivering the regulatory reporting and managing the relevant budgets provided
• Using your expertise to make sure that business solutions are optimised for our customers’ needs and the overall technology strategy

The skills you'll need

In this role, you’ll need to have in-depth domain or platform product knowledge and experience. Operational risk management, financial management, collaboration and negotiation are all important elements of this role, as is strong commercial acumen with an acute understanding of the business landscape.

In addition, you’ll have good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust quickly, enabling you to drive business strategy and identify where technology can enable strategy quickly and efficiently. You’ll demonstrate experience of cross regional collaboration and working with remote teams, as well as working across multiple franchises to deliver to diverse customer segments.

You’ll also be expected to have:

• Strong leadership skills, including Agile and servant leadership experience
• Architecture, design and engineering skills, relevant to the specific platform
• Experience of working and running high performance, large scaled Agile and non-Agile programmes, projects and teams
• Experience in the Wealth Management industry, delivering customer facing solutions to a diverse client base, in terms of investment experience, risk appetite and wealth
• A track record of delivery across mobile and web
