Position Overview

Autodesk Platform Service and Emerging Technology team is looking for talents to work on customer facing AI projects. In this role, you will build AI-powered features and intelligent agents for our products, hands on MCP tools and the AI Platform, driving innovation by applying cutting-edge AI technologies to deliver impactful, customer-facing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and product AI features
• Hands on MCP tools to integrate AI solutions into product workflows
• Collaborate with the AI Platform team to leverage shared infrastructure, tools, and services
• Experiment with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-modal AI techniques to build intelligent applications
• Develop prototypes to validate ideas and drive them into production-ready solutions
• Document findings, share best practices, and contribute to AI knowledge sharing across other groups
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI features in production.
• Own full engineering cycle including designing, prototyping, coding, validating, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Establish strong partnership and collaborate effectively with engineering teams worldwide with concise communication, strong commitment and win-win mindset
• Develop tools to boost development like automated testing, performance monitoring, resiliency analysis, etc
• Share and bring best practice into the team/product; promote best practice/achievement to engineering community
• Leading technical discussion and design cross global teams
• Mentoring and leading junior members to contribute on project goals

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering with 8+ years working experience or equivalent MS
• Require excellent experience in AI such as AI agent, MCP, LLM
• Excellent programing skills with Python, Java
• Rich AI system design experience
• Excellent analytical capability and fast-learning ability

• Excellent knowledge about AWS services or similar core services from other providers
• Good leadership, communication and teamwork
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, implementation, automation tests and deployment
• Fluent English communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data scientist is a plus
• Successfully completed one or more commercial AI software development cycles is a plus
• Advanced expert role, requiring deep subject-matter knowledge and sound business acumen to advise leaders
• For jobs at this level, knowledge of the business starts to become as important as subject-matter knowledge
• Incumbents translate specialized subject-matter requirements into business needs/requirements
• Require depth of specialized expertise to interpret internal/external business issues and recommend best practices to address them
• Solve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutions
• Work independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situations
• Adapt communication style to persuade various stakeholders across the business and frequently interact with senior leaders to provide advice and SME
• May lead functional teams or programs within own function (or closely related functions)
