Your role and responsibilities

The Product Specialist serves as the operational backbone of the Process Performance Motor portfolio, responsible for maintaining product data quality, supporting lifecycle projects, coordinating cross-functional activities, and providing market and competitive intelligence. This role translates customer and market needs into actionable insights, ensuring that Product Management and R&D decisions are grounded in accurate data and real customer requirements.

The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid

The role is contributing to the Motion / IEC Low Voltage Motors division globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Market Intelligence & Customer Insight: Gathering market data and customer feedback from sales to identify trends, unmet needs, and market requirements that guide portfolio decisions.

  • Competitive Intelligence & Benchmarking: Analyzing competitor portfolios, benchmarking technical performance and identifying portfolio gaps to maintain competitive advantage.

  • R&D and Product Management Support: Bridging market needs and product development by supporting business cases, consolidating requirements, managing initiatives and tracking project execution from development through launch.

  • Product Data & Portfolio Excellence: Ensuring product information accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycle by identifying data gaps, driving corrections, and supporting sales with product-related questions.

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Sales or Marketing

  • Good knowledge of low voltage motors, low voltage motors markets, customer needs and portfolio

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields

  • Strong drive and commitment/ passion to shape and develop the business

  • Ability to develop strong international network within the organization and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve business results

  • Analytical thinking (ability to lead market and portfolio analysis, draw conclusions and identify and prioritize strategic options)

  • Can-do attitude, eager to learn new things and grow professionally.

  • Proactive and structured work-style

  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English
