JR57987 Financial Accountant (Evergreen)

This is a qualified accountant position for a fast-paced multinational environment. The role is expected to evolve rapidly through streamlining and automating of processes.  As an Accountant, you will focus on accounting, operation and reporting for Micron entities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting or operation activities
  • Perform month-end close activities including preparing journal entries
  • Prepare and present monthly account reconciliations, variance analysis and ad hoc reports
  • Ensure compliances to accounting GAAPs, policies and SOX controls
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Provide guidance and training to internal customers and peers
  • Communicate with business partners and finance analysts
  • Support internal & external stakeholders
  • Ad hoc task or project as assigned

Key Skill/Competencies

  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • SAP experience highly desirable
  • Experience in Blackline/ Model N/ Ariba & Concur preferred
  • Experience in data analysis & result oriented
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Japanese or other foreign language skill set will be added advantage

Education & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Shared service experience and/or audit experience preferred
  • >1 year accounting or audit experience preferred
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
