Summary
The Assistant Director of Strategic Operations and Engagement helps to manage critical initiatives/projects that enhance and supports the Richmond Campus. The Assistant Director of Strategic Operations and Engagement will participate in activities and projects that enhance employee and community engagement. This position will also collaborate with other functional areas to facilitate campus strategy sessions. This position reports to the Chancellor of the campus.

  • Work on strategic planning and management of campus programs and initiatives.
  • Conceptualizes, implements, and is involved in engagement initiatives that enhance and support employee and community engagement
  • Serves as the strategic partner to leadership by providing updates and recommendations on critical initiatives or projects.
  • Assists stakeholders in driving projects through to completion.
  • Communicates management initiatives and assists in formulating and implementing policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with all functional areas on campus and with other Ivy Tech campuses.
  • Coordinates and organizes project information and communicates updates with leadership team.
  • Is a member and participates in Chancellor’s Cabinet to support various campus initiatives.
  • Responsible for handling grant fund initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and direction to staff involved in engagement initiatives and programs.

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree required
