Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with proven functional knowledge in the airline industry to support and drive several technology transformation projects. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that requirements are accurately gathered, analyzed, and translated into actionable solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Must have experience as a project lead, test lead or product owner, business analyst, Amadeus API Integration testing
- Good to have additional skill experience in automation testing of webservices using Postman and SOAPUI, REST APIs, XML, JSON, Altea Reservations, IATA NDC, Altéa Suite, Amadeus GDS, One Order Implementation, PSS Technical Implementation, Loyalty Implementation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories. Walkthrough of tests cases and functionality demo to the business
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to capture project goals and pain points
- Leverage functional knowledge of airline operations (e.g., reservations, ticketing, departure control systems, loyalty programs, etc.) to ensure alignment with industry best practices
- Design test cases for entire application and build RTM for the requirements as testing proceeds
- Assist in creating business process models, data flow diagrams, and use cases
- Perform smoke testing, regression, functional testing
- Conducting Data driven testing, cross browser testing and parallel test execution
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation
- Work with QA teams to define and validate test cases; support UAT and defect triaging
- Part of Production checkouts/releases
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and escalate issues/risks as needed
- Support change management and user training efforts as new systems or processes are introduced
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Minimum 7 years TL of demonstrated work experience in Travel Industry in the areas of Business Analysis Design, Domain Consulting, Digital Transformation, Operational Transformation, Product Management and Implementation
- Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams, defining Use Cases, Product Backlog, Business Case, and requirements management
- Experience in conducting requirement workshops and Demos
- Deep understanding of the Airline/Airport Business Process Models
- Experienced in Amadeus API Integration testing, TIBCO or MULESOFT
- Experience in automation testing of webservices using Postman and SOAPUI
- Skills: SoapUI · REST APIs · XML · JSON · Altea Reservations · IATA NDC · Altéa Suite ·Amadeus GDS, One Order Implementation, PSS Technical Implementation, Loyalty Implementation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of working in cross-functional teams
- Strong inter-personal, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
- Professional client-interfacing experience is a must
- Ability to lead a team as well as work in a team
- Engineering degree from a reputed college and/or full-time MBA degree from Tier1 or Tier2 B-School
