What we are looking for:

VML is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable Account Manager. You will be a primary client contact, responsible for fostering a strong, trusted relationship while guiding the end-to-end delivery of integrated marketing programs. This role requires someone who can not only manage expectations but also navigate unexpected challenges in the exciting, ever-evolving landscape of a major tourism brand.

What You'll Do:

Client Partnership & Relationship Building:

  • Build strong rapport and credibility with the clients through strategic guidance, responsiveness, and flawless execution.
  • Champion client objectives internally, ensuring that all marketing programs and deliverables align with client’s strategic goals and brand vision.
  • Establish and maintain clear project communication processes, keeping both agency teams and the client apprised of progress, changes, and critical decisions.

 

Integrated Campaign Execution:

  • Day-to-day development and execution of integrated 360 marketing campaigns for the entire delivery lifecycle of projects.
  • Identify dependencies, potential risks, impacts on timeline, and proactively guide the team to overcome obstacles.
  • Collaborate closely with internal VML teams including Creative, Strategy, Media, Production, and other specialized departments to develop comprehensive solutions.
  • Secure all necessary client approvals (e.g., creative briefs, estimates, creative materials) at progressive stages, ensuring clear communication and efficient progress.
  • Review all client-facing documents, creative work and deliverables with meticulous attention to detail before submission.

 

Project Management:

  • Manage comprehensive project documentation, including creative briefs, estimates, detailed project timelines, and status reports.
  • Actively prioritize business needs, resource allocation, and financials to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize and internal and client presentations, meetings, and calls, preparing all necessary materials including agendas, reports, and follow-up actions.

  • Detail-Oriented & Meticulous: You possess a sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection, ensuring high standards for quality and accuracy even under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable Problem-Solver: You are an enthusiastic critical thinker who can dig in, figure out solutions to complex problems, and comfortably lead discussions, you thrive in dynamic environments where every day presents new opportunities and challenges.
  • Strong Communicator: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of coherent and sensitive communication with clients, vendors, and staff.

 

What You'll Need:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in an Account Management or Project Management role within an advertising or marketing agency environment.
  • Ability to work in Nashville, TN.
  • Demonstrated experience executing and leading integrated 360-degree marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Strong organizational skills and an unwavering attention to detail, coupled with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously, often with competing priorities.
  • Adeptness at critical thinking and problem-solving, with a track record of anticipating issues and proactively developing solutions.
  • The inherent flexibility and agility to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing account environment.
  • Excitement to work both independently and as a team. 

 

 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
