Job Title: Technical Data Analyst
Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution:
To ensure the Group achieves sustainable competitive advantage through data & analytics, you will need to play a key role in supporting the CDO in executing to the Groups data strategy. Gather and analyse business requirements providing leadership and innovative solutions for IT systems. Accountable for all business analysis activities across initiatives including engaging with stakeholders to understand their business and use case. This will include sound knowledge of the Groups data strategy, architecture and technology roadmap, aligning CDO business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Interactively analyse data using various data analysis techniques across various sources · Transform data into meaningful information that the business can use in making decisions · Actively participate in requirements elicitation workshops with key stakeholders to capture business requirements · Identify issues and risks , and work with key stakeholders on solutions to mitigate or resolve the risk/issue · Convert high level business requirements into functional data requirements and communicate business value back to project teams · Perform data preparation activities by cleansing and preparing data for consumption · Provide input into solution design and data modelling decisions · Participate in business verification testing activities · Use a variety of advanced data analysis techniques to analyse data from multiple sources against business requirements · Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement of tools , processes and methodologies · Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify business process changes · Ensure attributes of data, relationships between data elements and sources of data are defines and mapped · Build subject matter and domain expertise , ensuring solution recommendations are aligned with overall Group enterprise architecture · Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics · Support more junior team members to build exposure and capabilities
Essential Skills:
1. We need a Data Technical BA with strong SQL knowledge
2. Data warehouse concepts and ETL knowledge
3. Advanced knowledge on SQL, Hive queries
4. Preferably someone who has previous development experience in Hadoop or Teradata.
5. Stake holder management and good analytical skills. Banking Domain good to have
Qualifications: Graduation from Technical Background preferably
