Position Summary:

Responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of all merchandise as described on purchase orders and carrier generated freight bills.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Necessary equipment license must be obtained within 30 days.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Essential Functions (Competencies):

• Ability to operate powered equipment as needed.          
• Check-in regular and special distribution merchandise from assigned doors. Match purchase order to freight bills and merchandise being received.
• Accurately complete appropriate receipts for vendor compliance and final preparation of merchandise stacked on pallets for storage/movement within facility.
• Inspect all merchandise, ensuring all receiving standards are met (IE. UPC code, case pack, item description, product/pallets are stabled, etc.)
• Ability to use a computer and access on-line system to verify merchandise, as needed.
• Accurately complete and submit daily worksheet/operator checklist and vehicle pass where required.
• Maintain work area/equipment in a clean, neat and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical demands:

• Frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds.
• Occasionally lift greater than 45 to 75 pounds.
• Occasionally bending, reaching and stooping.
• Frequent walking, standing, and pulling.

Work environment:  Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $31.30

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
