Summary:

Responsible for strengthening internal and external talent pipelines, improving employee readiness, and advancing career mobility across clinical and non clinical areas. Collaborates closely with operational leaders, HR Directors, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Education, Colleges, Training centers, and community partners to ensure the organization has a skilled, prepared, and engaged workforce that meets current and future business needs. Maintains excellent relations with key stakeholders and delivers top-notch programs through national and community partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Provides solution development for strategic alliances, collaborations, and partnerships with educational and training providers, workforce agencies, community and national organizations, and other employers.Designs and implements workforce development strategies that enhance recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, and career pathway progression for MHS team members.Supports change management and workforce planning related to new programs, expansions, and systemwide initiatives.Partners with operational leaders to understand workforce needs across hospitals, ambulatory sites, and service lines, including skill gaps, hiring challenges, and future staffing projections.Champions equitable access to learning opportunities, career advancement, and pathways programs for all employees, with a focus on creating upward mobility.Analyzes workforce data and labor market trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.Works closely with MHS Clinical Education, Talent Acquisition, and HR Director teams to align internal development programs with operational needs and quality-of-care standards.Supports grant-funded initiatives by coordinating activities, ensuring compliance, and tracking outcomes tied to community workforce, apprenticeships, and training programs.Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to build job‑ready pipelines for priority roles such as nursing, allied health, support services, and behavioral health.Develops strategic partnerships with schools, universities, vocational programs, workforce boards, and community organizations to expand talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles.

Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience in workforce development, talent acquisition, HR business partnering, talent strategy, or related fields, inclusive of three (3) years in project management and solution development; Specific proven experience with project management, decision support & data analysis. Experience working with workforce programs, grants, or community-based initiatives. Other Information: Additional Education Information: Master’s degree preferred.
