Job Description:

Job Title: Front Desk Clerk
Location: National Church Residences Parish Grove, Atlanta, GA

Position Summary:
The Front Desk Clerk will serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff at National Church Residences Parish Grove. The role involves providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. The Front Desk Associate will assist with general office duties, manage resident inquiries, and help coordinate activities for residents in a supportive and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:

    • Greet residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

    • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information or directing them to appropriate staff.

    • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.

  • Resident Support:

    • Assist residents with basic requests, such as service calls, scheduling appointments, and answering questions related to community events or services.

    • Monitor resident safety and well-being, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.

    • Assist with resident check-in/check-out processes, as applicable.

  • Administrative Duties:

    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.

    • Maintain accurate records, including visitor logs, maintenance requests, and communication with residents.

    • Assist with scheduling and coordination of community events, resident activities, and meetings.

    • Perform light administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and clerical support.

  • Security and Safety:

    • Ensure the safety and security of residents and guests by monitoring access to the building, including issuing visitor passes and tracking entry.

    • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with safety protocols.

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with maintenance, management, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

    • Assist in other areas as needed, including helping with community outreach, resident services, or event planning.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare preferred.

  • Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups, including residents, families, staff, and visitors.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality protocols is a plus.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Occasional lifting of light to moderate weight (up to 25 pounds).

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
