With TTM revenue of >$7B in Q3 2025, Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is a global leader in providing life changing technology for the management and treatment of people living with chronic conditions, including Diabetes.
This is an onsite opportunity based out of Alameda, CA.
What You’ll Work On
- Act as the lead expert on customer insights and business needs to shape high‑value, customer‑centric solutions.
- Define data‑driven product strategies and mid‑term goals by integrating market trends, competitive insights, and business objectives.
- Strengthen product discovery through structured value and viability assessments, and enable usability and feasibility testing with cross‑functional teams.
- Lead digital transformation by focusing on solving real customer problems and fostering agile practices across product teams.
- Define use cases and user stories and own modular product and service roadmaps aligned with global operations and quality functions.
- Translate roadmaps into detailed requirements, manage the product backlog, and lead sprint execution in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous and transparent communication on roadmaps, progress, and key decisions across stakeholders, leadership, and product teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives and optimizing ways of working across teams.
- Monitor product performance and business impact through data‑driven insights to support ongoing enhancement.
- Deliver outcomes that address key customer challenges and support critical strategic business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience driving end‑to‑end tech‑based product development with a proven track record of bringing solutions from concept to market.
- Deep understanding and experience in a similar role within the medical/consumer technology or a comparable environment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity in Scrum project management processes and/or the Product Operating Model.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, interpret, and derive insights from data to drive decision‑making.
- Highly proactive, action‑ and solution‑oriented, self‑driven, hands‑on, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Team‑player who enjoys accountability and collaborating within an international team.
- Ability to articulate customer and business value and translate it into actionable product decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones and outside traditional business hours when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI experience, especially in integrating AI into product solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Salesforce Certifications.
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Agent is a plus.
