About the Role

The objective of the role is to manage AIA Bhd.’s equity portfolio to beat their respective targets and benchmarks.

  • Managing AIA Bhd’s equity portfolio as per company policy and guidelines.
  • Markets and sector oversights, and development of investment processes for asset class under coverage and tactical asset allocation.
  • Management of local and foreign equity portfolio; covering sectors and stocks.
  • Monthly report writing on market and funds overview.
  • Reports writing on stocks and sectors.
  • Engagement with relevant collaborators on special projects.
  • Ensure adherence to investment parameters and limits.

Job Requirements:

  • A recognized tertiary education in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business or other quantitative fields.
  • A CFA charter holder or professional qualification in Investment/ Finance/ Portfolio Management will have better advantage.
  • Must have minimum 5 years of good working record in equities portfolio and experience in stocks and sector coverage for both local and Asian equities.
  • Highly compliant and meticulous in work.
  • Understanding of local and regional capital markets and companies.
  • Digital literacy and is comfortable working with IT or technology-related systems.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Commercially oriented.
  • Experience in handling regional equities will be an added advantage.
