Reporting to the Manager, BI Architecture and Advanced Analytics, the Business Intelligence Architect will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and the Global Data Governance (GDG) team to support Hach’s current and future data needs, with a focus on designing, implementing, and continuously improving our BI infrastructure. This position is located in Poland and is remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing Hach’s end-to-end Business Intelligence architecture and semantic data models.
• Managing and optimizing the Power BI / Microsoft Fabric environment, including Fabric capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Developing and optimizing complex DAX measures and data models to support scalable, high-performance analytics.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and Global Data Governance to ensure data quality, compliance, and actionable insights.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Advanced expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including semantic modeling and capacity management.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, with proven experience optimizing complex calculations on large datasets.
• Solid experience with Azure-based data platforms (SQL Server data warehouses) and data modeling best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a customer-focused and self-driven mindset.
