A Day in the Life

This is an exciting opportunity to join Medtronic and become a part of our commitment to the alleviate pain, restore health and extend life.

This position with the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Team is responsible for sales & clinical education activities across the Perioperative Complications product range. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will work in conjunction with the Sales Specialists to protect, grow and execute sales targets, in line with the ACM strategy and business plan for the South UK territory.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Providing expert knowledge relating to Blood Oxygen Management 
  • Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with relevant (clinical) stakeholders and societies in close collaboration with Account Managers
  • Achieving sales targets within the chosen strategic accounts for the ACM Blood Ox portfolio
  • Spending time in the NICU, Pediatric, Clinical Engineering and the OR working alongside our clinical stakeholders providing customer education, clinical insights and sharing best practice throughout the region
  • Business development of both new and existing technologies through a combination of capital and consumables sales, whilst collaborating with Sales Specialists and Marketing
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Medtronic and competitor solutions in the UK
  • Leading pre-purchase trials and evaluations, as well as product conversions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Relevant experience from clinical selling and a proven track record of success from either sales, market development or clinical training 
  • An advanced degree
  • Clinical knowledge from the Perioperative Complications portfolio
  • Industry knowledge from Acute Care and Monitoring
  • Strong network in the healthcare sector in the respective region
  • Clear and assertive communication with excellent presentation skills.

It would be nice if the candidate has a Clinical education/ Nursing background and the capacity for Business development.
