You will be working with a diverse team of architects, engineers, SMEs and tech leaders to build and maintain enterprise software solutions for corporate tax professionals across the US. You will be working on the Tax Provision Software team, who help tax professionals to do ASC 740 reporting. We are building a calculation engine to power tax software which will make it easier to support the existing tax calculation as well as building next generation tax calculation software.
- Drive and own architectural and system designing efforts and decisions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand customers' needs and desired capabilities.
- Be a technology evangelist to promote best practices in architecting solutions at the enterprise level by considering the latest trends in technology.
- Practice and promote a culture of innovation and teamwork across the tech community.
- Partner with tech leaders across teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.
- Measuring and monitoring milestones for reliability, efficiency, security, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
- Directing and reviewing architectural artifacts (POCs, prototypes, and design).
- Constantly expanding skills and learning new technologies required for building new solutions as part of the product intent.
- You have 7 or more years of experience in designing and implementing complex full stack software applications.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in C# (.NET core is a plus).
- You have coding experience in one other programming language - Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/Java.
- Expertise with cloud technologies - either AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with database programming (PostgreSQL /SQL Server).
- You have experience mentoring Junior Software Engineers.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of BA, BS, MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology field.
