What you will do

A Warranty coordinator and supplier SQE is a professional who is responsible for managing and processes warranty claims and returns, acting as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams.

How you will do it

  • Reviewing, processing, and tracking warranty claims for HVAC equipment, parts, and installation

  • Serving as the main point of contact for customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams regarding warranty-related inquiries. 

  • Maintaining accurate records of all warranty claims, including claim details, repair information, and communication logs. 

  • Understanding HVAC systems, components, and manufacturer warranties to assess claim validity. 

  • Scheduling service technicians or subcontractors, facilitating parts replacements, and coordinating with manufacturers. 

  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and relevant regulations. 

  • Working to resolve warranty issues efficiently and effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Establish and implement warranty-related policies and procedures

  • Manage warranty processes, claims, and daily warranty operations

  • Analyse and evaluate warranty data and claims to determine validity, accuracy, and eligibility

  • Inspect defective products and other issues by gathering relevant data

  • Manage and monitor warranty databases to maintain accurate records

  • Liaise and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to address and resolve warranty-related issues

  • Produce regular reports and analyses on warranty claims and performance metrics

  • Research and identify opportunities and strategies for efficient warranty claims processing

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with warranty policies and standards

  • Provide guidance, leadership, and training to team members on warranty processes

  • Administer warranty costs and budgets, including forecasting and expenses

  • Collaborate with customer service, quality assurance, and product development teams on identifying and resolving recurring issues

  • Stay updated on developments and innovations in the warranty industry

  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Maintain and update supplier quality documentation and records.

  • Ensure suppliers adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Coordinate supplier qualification and approval processes.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for defective materials.

  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality-related matters.

What we look for

  • Degree in Engineering; post-graduate degree is a plus

  • 4 to 6 years of Experience.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Knowledge of relevant technological, methodological and other disciplines related to manufacturing.

  • Have leadership qualities, good communication and take feedback

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Awareness of ISO 9001: 2015 / EMS 14001:2015 & OHSMS 45001:2018.

  • New supplier and component development.

  • Working with hand in hand with SCM.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical knowledge of HVAC systems.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and reporting.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
