Summary:
As a Security Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Cloud Security Management: Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure that cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and organizational policies.
Monitoring and Incident Response: Continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities. Respond to and investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Security Configuration and Hardening: Configure and manage cloud security services and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption). Apply best practices for cloud security configuration and hardening to protect data and applications.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure that cloud environments adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal security policies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance.
Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans on cloud infrastructure. Identify and prioritize potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Client Consultation and Support: Provide expert advice and support to clients on cloud security best practices, risk management, and incident response. Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incidents, and remediation efforts. Prepare regular security reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and network security, to integrate cloud security measures into overall IT and security strategies. Collaborate with vendors and partners to enhance security solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies. Continuously evaluate and improve security practices and tools to enhance the effectiveness of cloud security services.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Managed Cloud Security Services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and architectures.
- Experience with cloud security controls implementation.
- Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
- Experience with risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Managed Cloud Security Services.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
