The Position

We are seeking a project manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards and Operations, this role blends project management with Human Resources Information System

(HRIS) expertise. This role will manage and deliver HRIS projects and initiatives, work closely with the HRIS team to gather requirements, liaison with external stakeholders, and help manage the sprint cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven track record in project management methodologies, and the ability to translate business needs into systems solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage detailed projects plans and timelines for HRIS initiatives

  • Track risks, issues and dependencies for HRIS projects

  • Deliver timely project updates to stakeholders and steering committees

  • Partner with internal HRIS team and external stakeholders to understand business needs and document requirements

  • Act as liaison between HRIS team and external stakeholders to set and manage expectations, set alignment on deliverables and definition of done, and ensure stakeholder requirements are met

  • Collaborate with other project managers to ensure HRIS work is delivered in alignment with overarching initiatives and projects

  • Manage the HRIS service queue and ensure completion of work

  • Complete sprint cycle planning and ensure communication to relevant stakeholders

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Manage change related to HRIS initiatives and projects, including developing and delivering communication plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience supporting a technical field; experience in HRIS project management strongly preferred

  • Experience with Workday preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Effective communicator who is able to collaborate with difficult stakeholders

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to think broadly, connect dots, and identify gaps

  • Workday experience is a plus
