The Opportunity

What You’ll Work On

Provides compliance oversight of global field service organization.  Develops and supports service compliance strategy and documentation for both customer and employee support. Provides SME support of cross-functional teams and executes assigned service deliverables. Mentors Junior Global Service Quality Professionals.

  • Performs nonconformance/CAPA activities for service related nonconformances.
  • Provides compliance support to Abbott’s field repair centers and service personnel globally.
  • Leads and serves on cross-functional teams and projects supporting service and compliance.  Manage deliverables assigned, which includes due dates, resources and time needed, etc, as a member or a leader of a project team.
  • Performs data gathering/data mining in support of Quality metrics, nonconformances, and audits.
  • Supports audits of service processes globally.
  • Travels as needed to support field service and field repair centers.
  • Reviews and routes change requests associated with new or revised Service Documentation
  • Drives service compliance deliverables by working closely with planning, quality, engineering, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Engineering, Allied Health, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of work experience in clinical laboratory, biomedical engineering, diagnostic medical equipment servicing, or related service or laboratory field.

Or

  • 4 years of work experience in Quality in a highly regulated field such as in-vitro diagnostics or medical devices, to include experience in nonconformance/CAPA activities.

The base pay for this position is

$57,300.00 – $114,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
