JR54078 PRINCIPAL ENGINEER, NVE PE - NAND SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Responsibilities
•    Manage technical inputs and drive silicon-system alignment on requirements and commitments using the Success Criteria Document (SCD)
•    Work together with MAG / System Architecture / BU/ Apps/ TD to resolve any gaps between NAND commit and system requirements.
•    Represent NAND team in System PDTs and collaborate for changes required to achieve competitive systems.
•    Manages NAND milestone and sample delivery schedules, in sync with system development timeline. 
•    Own capability benchmarking for all NAND sample deliveries. Provide System development teams with relevant documentation, and drive meetings to garner approval from stakeholders.
•    Understanding sample usage / potential conflicts with requirements, Coordinate mitigations with system team, MAG, TD, NAND PE, to develop workaround. 
•    Review cell changes / coordinate system integration details (Delivery, Firmware compatibility)
•    Drive collaboration between NAND, MAG, and System teams to find solutions for NAND-System finds/gaps. 
•    Communicate proper priorities within NAND Development team to maintain focus on achieving system specs and highlight concerns to both Component and System teams for any issues.
•    Manage communication with system teams regarding any NAND ES / QR capability issues. Assist with risk assessment for any identified issues.
•    Own resolution and communication on issues with NAND System Integration.

Requirements
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate:
•    Keen interest in working in a diverse, global cross-functional engineering environment with development focus
•    Desire to develop knowledge and expertise in overall NAND to System development
•    Good knowledge of NAND device/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage
•    Good knowledge of system firmware/design/media management is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage
•    Prior experience in leading product development projects or acting in similar capacity would be of added advantage.
•    Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
•    Good multitasking and organizational skills
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Strong presentation skills
•    Strong self-motivation and enthusiasm

Education
•    Position requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines
