The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements to support Global Fund Services reporting application.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ETL process and architecture roadmap for all components, influencing change through multiple business objectives.
  • Design generic ETL components to support multiple business objective
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and business groups to build generic solution. 
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
  • Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
  • Handling multiple project simultaneous and ensuring to track progress in meeting the plan.  
  • Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
  • Automation processes and testing to minimize overall development lifecycle.  
  • Proactive monitoring the process, establish control and procedure to address deviation. 
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solution   
  • Monitoring overall ETL capacity planning

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in design and building ETL process using Talend/Abinitio/Spark/Python in a data warehousing environment
  • 6+ years’ experience in Oracle/DB2 database .
  • 3+ years’ experience in shell scripting 
  • Working knowledge of data platforms like Kafka MQ series developer tools like SDKs and, APIs
  • Have experience of writing code for POCs  Python, Java
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Having Funds knowledge will be preferable

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
