What will you do? 

The primary responsibility of this position is to execute and maintain the demand & supply planning for targeted customer groups

  • Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Analyze sales trends based on seasons, promotions, and historical sales trends.
  • Manage and influence the key stakeholders in the Demand Consensus Process. Identify insights in demand that can be used to support increased revenue
  • Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands.
  • Execute product demand plans to meet organization goals.
  • Implement Lead Time Reduction initiatives.
  • Develop lean techniques to improve demand planning metrics and processes.
  • Optimize Inventory planning according to the demand and market trends to meet cost and the service objectives.

How you will do it

  • Coordinate the customer projects with Supply Planning.
  • Implemented programs or policies that maximize inventory turns and identify slow moving items in the inventory life cycle.
  • Present on how the demanding planning process improves turn over and inventory results.
  • Initiate programs or policies that maximize inventory turns and identify slow moving items in the inventory life cycle.
  • Execute on the company’s supply chain strategy
  • Manage inventory tools and analyze data about surplus and discards. Monitor demand forecasts and ensure accurate reporting and analysis of data.
  • Perform analyses with this data using analytical models and mathematical analysis. Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.
  • Communicate and explain statistical models and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans.

What are we looking for?

Education & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, computer science, or a certification in operator or vendor management, such as the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) required
  • 4+ years of experience working in planning and inventory solutions in a manufacturing environment (experience with high growth and new product introduction is a big plus)
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, such as Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, Indirect Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics.
  • Use of various software and computer applications, such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, SAS, APO and Microsoft Office programs, required
