Overview

Join us as an Assistant Manager/Manager, Research & Insights and become a key contributor to our dynamic Customer Experience and Insights team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing and executing both quantitative and qualitative consumer research studies, helping us uncover actionable insights at scale. Your contributions will directly influence the definition of our product roadmaps and strategic direction, ensuring our offerings truly meet the evolving needs of our customers across diverse financial landscapes. The successful candidate(s) will report to the Head of Customer Experience & Insights. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Assist in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research, including field observations, interviews, usability studies (remote/in-person), and survey analysis.

  • Help gather and analyze insights to evaluate product changes and identify new opportunities through creative research methods and co-design sessions.

  • Work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, IT, marketing, operations, and developers to integrate research findings into product development.

  • Support the synthesis and communication of research findings through presentations, reports, and workshops to inform business decisions.

  • Assist in adapting and innovating research methods to deliver high-quality insights in a fast-paced environment, contextualizing for various products (e.g., traditional banking, fintech, cryptocurrency).

  • Contribute to Initiatives: Participate in various project-led initiatives, such as U&A studies, market sizing, concept evaluations, and post-launch deep-dives.

  • Help foster empathy across the organization to improve products and channels for customers and employees.

  • Support senior team members as an expert and advisor for internal business partners on customer insights and research.

  • Assist in sharing project knowledge and findings bank-wide through internal platforms and knowledge transfer sessions.

Jobholder Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen. 

Education/Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. 

Experience/Requirements

  • 3 years and above in market research (quantitative and/or qualitative), with a solid grasp of different methods. Experience within the financial services sector is highly preferred

  • A basic understanding of data analysis or experience with usability testing is a plus.

  • A passion for inspiring others to be customer-obsessed, with a knack for telling compelling human and data stories that drive product and market strategy.

  • Excellent communication and people skills to work effectively with various teams.

  • Skilled at analyzing both qualitative and quantitative info, turning research into clear findings and actionable business insights.
