Job Description:
Our Talent and Culture Partner is a key member of the People Team. This role supports culture, engagement, and development of our 500+ Team Members in the SSC and ensures that we have the right people and capabilities to achieve the company’s business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Culture and Engagement:
- Create plans and programs to nurture and sustain a culture that exemplifies our Values and Culture Pillars.
- Implement relevant and engaging recognition programs and celebrations to bring our culture to life.
- Implement People initiatives that promote employee engagement and transform company culture.
- Execute programs that enhance employee well-being.
- Create feedback channels that will help drive culture and engagement initiatives.
- Manage the People department’s budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Design and support events for Buster’s Legacy Fund.
SSC Development and Partnership:
- Support leadership development, individual development, succession, and talent planning for SSC team.
- Partner and support performance review process and performance management for SSC.
- Work in partnership with peer teams to ensure programs and processes support team members and the business. Innovate and redesign as needed to serve both needs.
- Partner with fellow People departments to develop and implement solutions that drive organizational business and business-unit objectives in the SSC; actively partner with SSC leadership to ensure priorities are being addressed by our team.
- Serves as a strategic business partner and consultant to SSC leaders, anticipating needs for change, recommending solutions, and influencing sustainable resolutions and change.
- Acts as an HR consultant and Business Partner to Managers and Team Members when appropriate.
- Consults and gives guidance to partners, helping translate strategic intent into measurable results for their teams and helps empower leaders to identify, develop and reward high performance.
- Maintain confidentiality in HR matters and uphold high ethical standards.
SSC Team Member Experience:
- Partner with recruiting on talent retention strategies to ensure the organization always has the workforce it needs.
- Lead the candidate and new hire experience for the SSC in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Design the onboarding process for new Team Members from Orientation and beyond.
- Design and implement 30, 60, 90-day check-in with new Team Members.
- Identify ways new Team Members can engage and build relationships with existing Team Members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Human Resources and Culture experience leading in a multi-unit restaurant or retail corporate environment.
- High level of capability in change management.
- History of leadership roles with companies that are culture-forward.
- Use sound judgement and has strong decision-making skills.
- 5+ years of professional work experience with increasing levels of responsibility within Human Resources.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.
