Primary Function:

Ensures timely payments to carriers and forwarders by effectively managing and optimizing third party service provider freight and audit processes, resolving billing issues, while actively monitoring freight expenses to maintain financial control and drive cost efficiency.

Educational Background:

(List minimum education and required discipline, e.g. Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, etc.)

Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering; Management Engineering; Operations Management or any Business course

Experience: (List minimum number of years and field of exposure, licensure, registration, and/ or certification required).

Entry Level or 1-2 years experience in inventory management; supply chain, & semiconductor or relevant industry

Knowledge, skill and abilities: (List the competencies the employees must have to be successful in the position)

• Exposure in Freight Audit and Pay process
• Knowledgeable in reporting tools like Tableau; Power BI as well as data mining like SQL.
• Moderate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint & Word)
• Strong verbal & written skills and can present analysis to management
• Self-organized and meticulous in his or her way of work to produce the deliverables on time and to expected quality
• Possess problem solving mindset (root cause analysis), analytic acumen

Major Duties & Responsibilities: (List the major responsibilities of the position. Most jobs have 5-7 major job responsibilities that represent the essential function of the position.)

• Oversee secure and timely disbursement of payments to D2L and carriers ​Establish audit rules and policies to ensure accuracy and timeliness of freight payments.
• New Carrier Enrolment at FAP and SAP.
• Track and resolve carrier inquiries related to billing discrepancies
• Ensure updated rates are loaded timely for rate audit accuracy.
• Timely review of invoices with exemptions
• Leverage business analytics tools to gain visibility into freight spend for management reporting
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and compliance audits of the provider. Act as the liaison between internal teams (finance, logistics, procurement, Indirect Tax) and the provider.
