We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Analytics to join our team in Dallas, TX.
A Day in the Life:
Directly interfaces with NMAC operations functions, sharing actionable insights based upon multiple data sources to rapidly inform and assist decision makers on the most expedient ways to improve NMAC operations. Responsible for assimilation, analysis, and communication of data as well as to establish, modify, or fine-tune the analytics platform and processes to achieve business goals. Routinely coordinates with various functions to prevent duplication of effort and streamline analysis to support current and future analytical needs. Develops and updates KPI’s to measure operational effectiveness.
Business functions supported include one or more of the following: Credit Operations, Funding, Customer Service, Financial Products, Sales Operations and Collections.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains dashboards that provide Senior and Executive management with a clear and concise understanding of assigned function’s operational performance and portfolio metrics to help optimize operations.
Creates material for and facilitates Monthly Business Review meetings with business and risk leadership teams to evaluate quality, early performance indicators, and optimization actions, along with staffing effectiveness.
Establishes methodology to analyze, track and report functional key performance indicators (KPIs).
Utilizes advanced query skills to develop assigned function’s critical operational reports.
Develops performance metrics to guide operations.
Conducts and supports complex analysis, ad hoc research, and reporting related to the quality of assigned function’s KPIs.
Leads data-driven projects or special assignments as requested.
Communicates with cross-functional NMAC departments to support operations and resolve analytics issues.

Job Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive and demonstrated expertise in analytics, encompassing a thorough understanding of diverse data sources and their applications. Capable of managing, designing, and executing complex analytical projects that enhance sales and service evaluations. Proficient in statistical analysis, forecasting methodologies, and relevant software tools. Skilled in applying mathematical models to real-world business scenarios to boost profitability and strategic decision-making.
Computer Skills:
Expertise in developing and utilizing cloud-based platforms, spreadsheet software, and mainframe systems to effectively integrate and manage diverse data sources while ensuring data integrity and reliability. Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Python is required, with a strong ability to apply these programming languages in data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence contexts to solve complex problems and optimize outcomes.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related field is required. A Master's degree is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong academic background that supports advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Six or more years of progressive professional level experience in a related field required with 2-3 years of experience using Python, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
Relationship and Communications Skills:
Strong ability to engage and collaborate with internal clients, accurately interpreting their requirements and aligning these with complex data sets for insightful analysis. Skilled in articulating sophisticated analytical outcomes in a clear and actionable manner, enabling decision-makers to leverage this information to drive profitability and informed business strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skills ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Occasional day or overnight domestic travel may be required.
