What to Expect:
As a GenSet Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of critical components used in Google's data centers. Your role will be vital in preventing defects that could lead to data center shutdowns or construction delays. This is a 2-3 month contract working 30-40 hour work weeks onsite at Chartres-de-Bretagne, France.

What You'll Do:
Conduct Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of GenSets, including generators, mufflers and exhaust, plenums, fuel tanks, minor electrical components, and enclosures.
Document Findings: Accurately fill out required documentation, including Google Sheets, issue tickets, and photo uploads, in a timely manner.
Ad Hoc Scheduling: Be ready to work on an ad hoc schedule, responding promptly to service requests with as little as one day's notice for assignments typically on Mondays through Fridays.
Communicate Effectively: Maintain prompt communication with the Operations team via text, call, and email.
Ensure Quality: Conduct final inspections of completed units, ensuring all defects are captured and documented prior to shipping.

What You'll Need:
Familiarity with spreadsheets and tablets.
Reliability and integrity, with a positive and open-minded attitude.
Ability to work independently and follow directions precisely.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with the supplier and team members.
Physical capability to handle inspection tasks, including working with steel beams, sheet metal, and other heavy components.
