At Fictiv, we’re building a company that is developing an operating system for sourcing custom mechanical parts. We already enjoy manufacturing and delivering highly complex, high quality parts for our Fortune 500 customers who are building the future with products like autonomous electric vehicles, surgical systems, and industrial robots. As we scale our business, we are looking to expand our growth within China.

Your role as a Feidi Senior Logistics Coordinator will be to support our critical manufacturing functions. We have two sets of customers—our builders, who order parts through us, and our manufacturing partners, who manufacture and assemble these parts—and you’ll take the inputs from our builders and work with our manufacturing partners to deliver on our builders’ expectations. At Fictiv, we believe in creating and empowering product innovators to create, and you’ll be playing a critical role in making that happen.

In this role, you’ll be using excellent attention to detail and logistics experience to schedule and create daily shipments exports from China and freight cost data analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

1.Logistics Freight Cost analysis
Data collection: collect from US finance, US logistics, China courier and freight forwarder service providers and internal system.
Data analysis: Use data analysis tools and methods to analyze the collected data, identify problems and potential improvement opportunities in logistics operations, such as cost overvalue, transportation inefficiency, etc
物流费用分析
数据收集：从内部系统，与美国财务，物流以及中国得快递，货代服务商沟通收集相关物流收入与支出数据
数据分析：运用数据分析和方法对收集得数据进行分析，发现物流运营中得问题和潜在得改进机会，如成本超值，运输效率低下等

2. Daily shipment arrangement
Communicate with China MP, third party logistics service providers, internal departments and overseas office colleagues to achieve timely delivery of goods, and prepare a full set of China export shipping documents and customs import declaration documents.
与中国工厂，第三方物流服务商，内部各部门以及海外办公室的同事沟通以达到及时运送货物, 并且准备全套的中国出口船务文件和海关进口申报的文件.

3. Renewal of freight rate:
Maintain the original data of UPS discount rate table, update the freight forwarder rate in the automatic quotation system according to the results of logistics industry research, market analysis and historical shipping cost analysis.
维护UPS折扣税率表的原数据，根据物流行业研究，市场分析，历史出货费用分析的结果，更新自动报价系统里的货代税率

4. Shipping document filing. (use for customs random checking and finance tax rebate)
物流文件的归档。(用于海关随机检查及财务退税）

5. Check the freight bills.
核对物流运费账单。

6. Assist in the work temporarily assigned by the department manager.
协助部门经理临时委派的工作。

Desired Traits

• 1. Bachelor degree or above, good English reading and writing skills, can communicate with English e-mails and fluent oral English is better.
  大学本科或以上学历。良好的英语读写能力，可以用英文邮件沟通，口语流利更好。
• 2. Being proficient in operating all kinds of office software, understanding systems such as SAP or ERP or Odoo etc, and being proficient in Excel formulas is preferred.
  熟练操作各类office软件，懂SAP或ERP或Odoo等系统且熟练Excel公式优先。
• 3. Have more than 8-10 years of working experience in shipping affairs in trading companies or factories, be familiar with all aspects of cargo transportation, including booking, loading, truck arrangement, customs declaration, handling of B/L and various freight documents, as well as the various freight charges accounting.
  有8-10年以上贸易公司/工厂船务工作经验，熟悉货物运输的各个环节，包括订舱，装货，运输安排，报关，提单及各类货运文件的处理，各项运费的核算等。
• 4. Understanding of different routes and ports, having customs code filing, customs manual, customs tax and other related knowledge is better
  对不同的航线和港口了解，有海关编码归档，海关手册，海关税务等相关的知识更好。
• 5.Sensitive to data, strong logical thinking ability,  be able to systematically analyze and disassemble complex logistics problems, and propose practical solutions to meet various challenges and problems
  对数据敏感，有较强的逻辑思维能力，能够对复杂的物流问题进行系统分析和拆解，并提出切实可行的解决方案，以应对各种挑战和问题
• 6. Outgoing and cheerful, passionate and energetic, possess good cross-functional communication skills.
  外向开朗，热情活力，具有良好的跨部门沟通能力
• 7. Have teamwork spirit, be careful and meticulous in doing things, have a good working attitude and be responsible.
