We’re currently looking for a Connected Car Services Intern to join our team.  The position will be at the following location, Franklin, TN and will be a full-time role in Fall 2024.

Nissan offers a variety of Connected Car Services to enhance the vehicle ownership experience and provide a continuous customer engagement opportunity. The intern will be tasked with developing strategies improve the customer engagement with these connected services and ideally driving higher subscription rates.

During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to:

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the primary drivers of enhancing the vehicle ownership experience via Connected Car Services (CCS).

  • Through leadership and content development of various projects and workstreams, identify new CCS business opportunities and techniques to improve revenue and profit.

  • Design and complete research and analysis of opportunities including business impact, sales and profit expectations, and investment projections.

  • Develop & present project plans, new business strategies, business case financials, and implementation plans to Senior Executives for approval.

  • Use internal and external data to conduct broad and deep quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to identify specific opportunities and to support business recommendations.

  • Work with key internal stakeholders on defining and refining potential opportunities. Develop new business initiative strategies, business cases and business plans, and execution plans.

  • Work with cross-functional teams regionally and globally to define and gain input into EV business opportunities.

  • Work cross-functionally to develop & execute CCS monetization strategy; implement & execute plans based on current offerings and provide feedback to the planning & connectivity teams on refining execution based on customer needs & feedback.

  • Management Accountabilities: Responsible for supervising and providing leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development; interviewing and selecting employees; planning and evaluating employee performance; recommending transfers and promotions; counseling and disciplining employees as necessary; recommending termination when appropriate; and monitoring time and attendance of subordinates.

  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

  • Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Communications, Psychology, Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, or a related field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to perform work onsite at NNA HQ in Franklin, Tennessee.
  • Previous experience in electrification, connected products, and/or automotive strategy is strongly preferred
  • Extensive use of data for analysis
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is desirable, with a proven ability to identify and create opportunities where value can be achieved for Nissan
  • Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Has an interest and enjoys meeting and interacting with new people.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and managing databases
