About the Position: 

The Healthcare Integration Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Immigration Department on all matters related to the acculturation, training, and travel needs for foreign-trained healthcare professionals. 

We are seeking a temporary team member for a 4-month contract starting in June with opportunities for extension.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage and respond to healthcare professionals' inquiries, ensuring effective customer service.  

  • Oversee the orientation process for arriving healthcare professionals, maintaining open communication to address any concerns. 

  • Maintain and organize immigration files and relevant documentation.  

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and efficiently communicate them to clinicians.  

  • Handle the processing and submission of fingerprint cards and other essential documents to the appropriate boards and teams.  

  • Update and mail immigration-related documents such as SSNs and green cards to healthcare professionals.  

  • Prepare and send interview packets, ensuring timely receipt for Embassy interviews.  

  • Organize housing assignments and ensure corporate apartments are adequately prepared and stocked before healthcare professionals' arrival.  

  • Facilitate acculturation and integration processes for all healthcare professionals.  

  • Process I-9 and DS260 forms and prepare employment certificates before arrival.  

  • Coordinate and compile operational reports, maintain filing systems, and manage schedules.  

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure healthcare professionals meet credentialing requirements and are ready for pre-deployment activities.  

  • Oversee transportation logistics for healthcare professionals, including airport transfers and local appointments.  

  • Assist healthcare professionals with settling into their assigned locations and familiarizing them with the area and existing employees.  

  • Schedule and coordinate driving tests, lessons, and related activities.

  • Manage travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and car rentals for healthcare professionals' assignments.  

  • Evaluate driving abilities and assist in vehicle maintenance and registration.  

 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Two years of related experience.  

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.  

  • Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization.  

  • Understand, interpret, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.  

  • Work independently, see business needs and proactively accomplish them for the betterment of their team and the organization.   

  • Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, utilize time.   

  • Attend to the needs and expectations of customers.  

  • Engage effectively in dialogue.  

Salary: $28.85/hour

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
