JOB SUMMARY
Ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes by troubleshooting production issues, improving/documenting workflows, implementing process improvements, and training various personnel on process standards and best practices. This role will collaborate with production, quality, and EHS groups to uphold safety standards, ensure quality, and increase efficiency. This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving manufacturing processes while empowering frontline teams through hands-on technical training and support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for production and process defects and failures.
Capture and analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and deliver technical training programs for production staff, including onboarding, process changes, and equipment operation.
Maintain documentation and training records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual aids.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Eng, Quality, Safety, Maintenance… to resolve production challenges, ensure compliance, and implement best practices.
Identify and execute process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Be a leader, mentor, and coach towards integration of Lean principles, values, philosophies and tools for driving continuous improvement along a value stream.
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing solutions.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing assistance, as needed, to ensure a smooth transition from development to production.
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, preferred; equivalent experience considered.
2+ years' experience in a manufacturing/production support role.
Experience developing training materials or conducting technical training.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks…)

The pay range for this role is $58,800 - $94,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
