Role in Nutshell:

The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support across various HR processes within the Workday portal, including new hires, terminations, employment changes, and employment verification. This role involves maintaining employee records, ensuring data accuracy, and processing workday transactions efficiently.

How you will make a difference:

Workday Portal Process Management

  • Provide specific assistance in processing HR transactions within the Workday portal, including new hires, terminations, employment changes, and employment verifications.

  • Follow up with business managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to clarify information, obtain necessary approvals, or request corrections as needed.

HR Data & Process Management

  • Create, update, and maintain accurate employee profiles and data in the respective HR systems of record - Workday

  • Audit and ensure the accuracy of data processed, maintaining high standards of data integrity.

  • Be well-versed in data protection principles, ensuring the secure and confidential handling of sensitive employee information.

  • Share payroll data to the payroll team - new joiners, promotion data, and termination data as well as additional data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Provide support to internal employees on day-to-day HR-related issues and concerns.

  • Provide necessary support to the business and stakeholders in queries related to HR purview.

  • Ensure that relevant documentation is on file for employees, for example approvals for hiring, right to work documents, contracts of employments, change letters etc.

  • Additional payroll and other benefit related duties as required

Team Collaboration & Projects

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to support Centres of Excellence (COEs) and regional HR initiatives.

  • Participate in regional and global HR projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives.

  • Be involved in project work that can help drive continuous improvement within our business

  • Any other administrative tasks or duties that can support the wider Global HR team

Experience:

  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday portal and HR Service is preferred.

  • Proven experience in processing HR transactions and managing employee data with a high degree of accuracy.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to process transactions accurately in Workday.

  • Good understanding of data protection principles and experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed and accurate records.

  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially excel and word

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Self-directed individual with initiative

  • AnalyticalHR administration experience desirable
