Job Summary:
The Junior Supervisor manages a small team of entry level credit analysts. They oversee daily operations, provide training, and ensure that the team meets its targets for collections and credit analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and managing the credit and collections department
• Overseeing the work and performance of credit and collections team members
• Developing and implementing credit and collections strategies and procedures
• Maintaining relationships with clients and vendors to ensure timely payments
• Conducting regular credit reviews and assessments to identify potential risks
• Negotiating payment plans and settlements with delinquent accounts
• Analyzing credit data and providing recommendations for credit limits and terms
• Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and accounting, to improve credit processes
• Preparing and presenting credit reports and updates to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws related to credit and collections
• Training and mentoring new credit and collections team members
• Resolving escalated customer inquiries and complaints
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of credit and collections activities.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Proficiency in analyzing creditworthiness, assessing risk, and making informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Meticulousness in tracking project progress and maintaining accurate records.
