Job Description:

J&J Innovative Medicine Italy is the commercial operating company for the Pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson and is responsible for the access, marketing and sales of the pharmaceutical business in the said territory.

The operating company has an annual revenue of approx. $1.3B and will continue to grow over the next coming years.  This is a fixed term position to be based in Milan, Italy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Controlling

  • Systems updates & Masterdata maintenance
  • Monthly/quarterly closing and reporting activities
  • Systems management in the financial planning and forecasting process
  • Provide insightful financial analysis
  • Continuous improvement in the way of working, enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

Compliance

  • Comply with J&J worldwide financial, Healthcare Compliance, and Business Conduct procedures and drive accountability throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with local regulations.

Business Partnering

  • Supervise performance against business plan commitments.
  • Participate in EMEA and cross-sector initiatives.
  • Actively champion a deep collaboration between all finance groups.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance/economics/accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years finance or related business experience is required.
  • Knowledge of financial automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, AI-based applications for data analysis and automatic reporting.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
