Job Description Summary

As Senior FP&A Analyst - Fossil EMEAA, you will serve as the dedicated financial planning and analysis resource supporting the Fossil EMEAA region within Steam Power Services. Reporting into the HQ FP&A team, this role is the connective tissue between three Fossil sub-regions — EMENAT, APAC, and SSA — and the EMEAA CFO and General Manager, ensuring that financial information flows upward accurately, efficiently, and with full drill-through visibility. The role owns the consolidated financial planning file and leads all core FP&A cycles for the region. During off-peak periods, this analyst will contribute to transformation and data & analytics initiatives led by the HQ FP&A team, playing an active role in modernizing how the Fossil business consumes and acts on financial data.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Regional FP&A & Consolidation

  • Own and maintain the consolidated financial planning and analytical database for Fossil EMEAA, integrating inputs across EMENAT, APAC, and SSA sub-regions

  • Lead all core FP&A cycles for the EMEAA region including Forecast, Budget, Pacing, and Long Range Forecast in close coordination with the HQ FP&A team

  • Ensure financial information flows from sub-regions to region to HQ in a structured, transparent, and timely manner — balancing summarized regional views with drill-through visibility to sub-region and country-level detail

  • Coordinate across sub-region finance and operating teams to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of financial submissions

  • Prepare and consolidate regional reporting packages and presentation materials for the EMEAA CFO and General Manager

  • Provide variance analysis and commentary on regional performance vs. plan, forecast, and prior year

  • Support the EMEAA CFO during peak planning and close periods (~8 weeks per quarter), serving as a reliable and proactive analytical resource

  • Identify and escalate financial risks and opportunities across the EMEAA region in a timely and structured manner

Transformation & Data Analytics

  • Support the HQ FP&A Income Statement manager on transformation projects and data & analytics capability building during off-peak periods (~4 weeks per quarter)

  • Contribute to the development of scalable, automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility across the Fossil and Steam Power Services finance team

  • Help build and incorporate AI-assisted tools and workflows into FP&A processes as the organization develops these capabilities

  • Actively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and transparency of regional financial reporting processes

  • Serve as a technology-forward resource within the team, championing the use of modern tools to democratize financial data

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Significant experience in finance, or completion of a GE Vernova finance leadership development program

  • Fluent English knowledge is essential

Desired Qualifications/Characteristics

  • Prior experience in an FP&A, financial reporting, or business finance role

  • Exposure to multi-region or international business environments

  • Strong consolidation and financial modeling skills — able to manage complexity across multiple inputs while maintaining a clean, reliable output

  • Excellent Excel skills, including advanced modeling and large dataset management

  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a strong plus

  • Technology literate with a genuine interest in how digital tools can improve financial processes; experience building or incorporating AI agents or automated workflows is a plus and will be developed further in the role

  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to synthesize and communicate at a regional summary level

  • Effective communicator and coordinator — able to work across time zones, cultures, and functional teams in a matrixed organization

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with recurring deadlines and shifting priorities

  • Experience with SAP is a plus (PowerMax, OneSteam, or similar ERP platform).
